Excel Mania | 17 September 2018. Microsoft Excel memiliki beragam fungsi yang terkadang kita saja yang tidak tahu cara menggunakannya. Termasuk halnya dengan fungsi untuk mencari selisih tanggal, bulan, atau tahun. Misalkan, suatu ketika ada data mahasiswa masuk per tanggal 1 September 2014, kemudian yang bersangkutan lulus pada tanggal 12 Oktober 2018, terkadang kita dibuat pusing jika harus mencari manual. Kalau yang dicari hanya satu dua orang saja tidak ada masalah. Tetapi jika yang dicari lebih dari sepuluh, seratus, atau bahkan seribu, tentu akan menjadi sebuah masalah. Berdasarkan hasil googling, ketemu rumus “DATEDIF” yang bisa digunakan untuk mencari selisih tanggal, bulan atau hari.
Gambar di atas adalah penggunaan fungsi datedif, lengkap dengan contoh-contohnya. Langkah pertama adalah ketikkan =DATEDIF(Alamat Sel Tanggal Awal; Alamat Sel Tanggal Awal; “KODE”). KODE disini diisi sesuai kebutuhan, D (Day) digunakan untuk mencari selisih tanggal, M (Month) digunakan untuk mencari selisih bulan, dan Y (Year) digunakan untuk mencari selisih tahun. Bahkan, keduanya bisa digabung untuk mencari selisih dalam …. tahun …. bulan dan ….hari. Apabila pembaca masih kesulitan, silahkan unduh file contonya di sini.
